Algorithms
Algorithmic Intuition is focused on technology that gives devices the ability to better understand people and what they are doing. Combining small sensors with advanced algorithms, devices can compute and identify human activity and context. It is only in the past few years that we have seen the convergence of small, low-cost, low-power sensors with advanced machine-learning ("AI") algorithms and light-weight communications technologies. Taken together these advancements open broad new applications for activity recognition that were previously impossible.

Sensor Fusion
Sensor Fusion is the synergy accomplished by combining several sensors to yield a result greater than the sum of the parts. Properly chosen sensors can help compensate for errors, reduce cross-terms and can provide calibration metrics to keep other sensors more accurate. Sensor Fusion was first developed for Inertial Navigation Systems where accelerometers, gyroscope and magnetometers measurements were fused to compute position and attitude. Today, sensor fusion algorithms are critical components of most consumer products, including automobiles (with 100+ sensors), mobile phones (25+ sensors), house hold applianced and Internet of Things.
